ok. so my school wants to hold a fund raising concert for our school choir to go to chicago for a choral competition. so far the student organizing it contacted many local artists, a handful of them have responded, and a smaller number can actually perform. she contacted GLP's agent (gabe bondoc, leejay abucayan, and passion, well known local artists who team up together on occasion). today i heard that they downright refused to perform.

my initial reaction was sadness, but as i thought about it, i got HELLA mad. these guys are well known (that would attract people) and local (i'm talking like 1 hour away at most). what? are they just too good to perform at our school. ughhhh. they didnt give a reason, least that i know of. even AJ RAFAEL, who is NOT local, gave us a reason as to why he couldn't make it (gonna be in virginia). blargh..

still, we have that handful of artists who are willing to perform, and still way more that haven't gotten back to us yet. just hoping that we'll get a good list of peeps and that they'll get back to us soon.

on a side note. GABE BONDOC and AJ RAFAEL are gonna be at marine world and me and my friends are gonna volunteer and be STAGE ASSISTANTS (hopefully). 8DDDD holy crap... to be that close to AJ RAFAEL 8DDDDDDDDDDD
